You’d be forgiven for thinking SIK was a name dreamt up by a hipster looking to attract the attention of a younger market for their new putter brand. Think again.
SIK stands for Study in Kinematics – the study of the motion of objects. Understanding motion is a massive subject in golf, and SIK Golf’s thinking has led them to create Descending Loft Technology (DLT) for putters.
DLT means SIK putter faces have four lofts (from the bottom of the face to the top there are 1º, 2º, 3º, and 4º sectors), so no matter where putts strike the face, you get a consistent launch and roll. The idea equates to more consistent launch and distance control, which adds up to more holed putts. Physicist Bryson DeChambeau plays SIK putters on tour as he believes they give him a performance edge over the competition.

SIK’S new Flo M mallet is precision CNC-milled from a solid block of 303 stainless steel. Thanks to tour player feedback, the new Flo’s head is 10% more compact than the original and 70g lighter. SIK say their intention was to create the increased MOI and forgiveness of a mallet, but at the same weight as a blade. Like all SIK putters, the Flo M is fully customisable, with five different hosels, so you can get the perfect toe hang set-up to suit your stroke.
